Depends on you, the guy and just how good the date was. Understand that he's under pressure too, especially if he really likes you. He can't appear too enthusiastic... He'll be afraid of driving you away. Even if he wants to call the next morning if he has any sense he won't.
Anything less than the next afternoon, he's too eager. Anything more than three days later, he's not eager enough.

a few days. but honestly...if the girl doesn't call to thank me for the date within the next day or two, i will probably not want to see her again. so, if you havn't done that already, you better jump on the phone. if you like the guy you should call him and thank him for the date and say, "i had a fun, we should do that again soon." after the date ends, it's the girls responsibility to make the next contact...at least that's the way i feel. i like a girl with a little bit of manners and class.

They very rarely call back the next day -- they don't want to seem too eager.. it's usually about 2 or 3 days.

If it was that good then he would have called you that night! Most (MEN) don't have time to play games. If their interested then they will call, if not that night, then the next day at least!
