HO Alternator. You don't need cap. Did you ever get my email answering your questions?

A good rule of thumb is for every 1000W peak, use a 1 Farad capacitor. If the peak wattage is less usually you can get by without either the capacitor or the high output alternator. In your case, from I the specs on the factory alternator outputs that I found, I would recommend at least a 1 farad capacitor and a high output alternator. A good combination would be a 1.5 Farad capacitor and a 100 amp or larger alternator.

hook it all up and see if there really is any drain on your alternator...in the long run it is best to get a new alternator not just a cap....but again it may not be necessary, you say "both" amps are 800rms but you mentioned hooking up some 6x9's why 800 watts??

You should be safe with 2 per speaker, but check out with a retailer first.
