Sorry to hear that. You should see your GP and be referred to a counsellor or therapist. Try to avoid medication as this will only mask the problems you are experiencing. In the meantime speak to your family and/or friends and maybe you could write down the things that are bothering you. Other alternative things to do is contact charitable organisations such as Samaritans, Mind or Sane. Good luck!

There is no such thing as a clean slate. You take you where ever you go. Take a look inside and decide what you want to keep and what you want to change. Pick one thing to work on.

Sometimes it helps to sit down and write down what is bothering you; make a list of all the things you are worried about or afraid of.
After each item, write down something you can actively do to stop the particular problem you are worried about. Take that step. If it is something you can't control ... try to deal with the issue if you have to face it, and if you can divert yourself from it for a little while, do so.

Well, I think that I could be more helpful if you described a little more of what you are going through. General advice is to take things a little bit at a time, it's easy to get overwhelmed! Also, take care of yourself and make sure to start with you before you start into relationships with others.

You have to figure out where you are before you can figure out where you are going. Then in order to get anywhere worth while, you have to set goals, decide what you want in life, what you want to do, what kind of person you want to be, make a plan and then do it, and don't expect it all to happen over night. It's a process and it can take years. And you will have to adjust your plans many times as you figure things out.
