I am about to begin a diet, but still want to enjoy partying. What type of liquors/ beers have low calories?

Stick to light beers and liquor and seltzer combination. Wine is ok too if you think serving sizes.

But remember that alcohol itsef is high calorie. And avoid getting drunk cause you lose sef control.

Another thing to remember is that alcohol dehydrates you...which affects your metabolism and increases bloating and water retention. So drink lots of water(best cold) to help counter the effects.

Wine is relatively low-cal. Light beers come in under 100 or 120 calories a pop. Steer clear of Mai Tais, Pina Coladas and Tequilas.

You can also order Gin and diet tonic, Jack and Diet Coke. However, I recently read that the artificial sweetners in the diet drinks make alcohol go into the blood stream more quickly than regular sodas, so bear that in mind when you consume.
