This is so important since coffe cost a lot and you need the best taste you can get for the $. There was a 50,000 person taste test in Dec of 04: Results:
#1 tested Caribou Colombian(on line) $11.25lb.
#2 tested Eight O Clock $5lb
#3 tested Dunkin'Donuts $7.66lb
I quit the expensive ones like Starbucks and went back with 8oclock and the taste is back also. I thought you had to spend more to get better???? Dumb
PS: Best coffee maker is Braun Aromaster KF400 for $20

Kopi Luwak is considered the worlds rarest coffee. It is picked from the poop of a small marsupial in Indonesia and roasted. Only 500 pounds is produced each year. If you don't believe me do a google search for Kopi Luwak.
I have had the coffee and it is interesting, almost barn like.

Blue Mountain coffee is still the best, not the brand name "Blue Mountain", is the actual Blue mountain's coffee from Jamaica.

Coffee Beanerys Cafe Carmel is the bomb diggity! It has such a sweet taste, not bitter like Starbucks. Yummy I get one everyweek!

It is all in the skill and subtlety of the roaster, any jacka** can make decent cofee from good quality beans, but a great roaster can elevate them to a high art.

DUNKIN DOUGHNUTS COFEE IS SWILL fit only for swine and vermin. their doughnuts are gross too.

8 oclock coffee, Bokar, or fresh ground bean. Starbucks expensive and not as good.
