no she doesn't support me:) good one, I make quite a bit more than she does, we live together but I'm quite a bit more educated than she is and it drives me nuts to continually have to repeat myself because I've used too large a word. Also I don't think I could spend holidays with her family, they are very nice but....

Why do you want to be with someone you hate, thats dumb!
Its seems you aint got the strength to make a break from her because your afraid to break away from the emotional attachments you still have with each other.
You should maybe do each other a favour and take a long hard look at your relationship and the damage its causing you both.
Do you really want a relationship based on this feeling? No I dont think so, and maybe your girlfriend doesnt either, so why not do each other a favour and either discuss whatever issues are making you feel like this and try to resolve the problem between you, or break- up this relationship and set each other free to try and find real love and happiness elsewhere, rather than being co-dependants in an unhealthy relationship.

I feel the same way about my husband. I hate him so much. But i love him too and i don't even know why i love him or what i love about him, but if something ever happened to him, i don't think i would able to survive. I just need him by my side. He's like a part of me that i can't define.

maybe the reason is because u probably have known her for such a long time that you guys have that special connection and u know she is good to u no matter what OR the reason might be u are afraid that if u leave her, u might end up alone which is not true.

That doesn't make any sense. You obviously don't hate her. Hate is a strong word Vern. Maybe she's a b*tch, so dump her *ss. Is she rich or something? Maybe there are a few good reasons you're staying in the relationship that don't have to do with the relationship. Like free rides, she supplies your drug habit, buys you lunch? Maybe she's just familiar. Maybe you're scared you can't get anyone else.

Hate is an emotion related to love, as long as there is an emotion, you will not forget about her. the trick is Indifference. learn to feel nothing, the same way you would look at a stranger. it will take time, but the outcome of it, will leave them speechless.

Maybe she wasn't really your girlfriend maybe it was lust. Maybe she's not so bad after all. Maybe you can't let go,because you are afraid of what people might say including your friends and her's. Can you stand to see her with someone else?

You obviously have no self esteem, are you an only child? Seems to me you can't be alone. But if you can't stand her you shouldn't be with her. Dump her if you're miserable and hang out more with your friends to keep your mind off of her.

If you hate her then you don't need to be together. My guess is that you don't leave her because you are afraid to be alone. There are plenty of fish in the sea! Start fishing!
