It's a good attitude you have about the sweating, because that is all part of summer! I would plan an indoor wedding whether it be in someones home or a church! Make sure your dress is of summer fabric and keep any flowers in ice water and put them out at the last minute! keep food and cake all very simple and make sure there is plenty of bottled waters on ice for those who prefer no alcohol. Keep the wedding and reception short so that people don't want to leave due to heat fatigue! If you choose outdoors there will have to be shaded areas even tented. Its nice to even put buckets of ice waters on each table instead of champagne. Have a happy and safe day!

Given the location and weather issues I highly suggest an indoor wedding. The last thing you need to worry about is passing out on your wedding day due to heat and not anxiety/excitement from getting married. And I think your guests will thank you for the thoughtfulness.

Baby powder yourself before you put on your dress,or get a talc with a nice scent, like lavender, talc will help keep the sweating to a minimum. Or get married under a beautiful canopy, give guest favors, hand out pretty hand held fans, they have some very nice small fans that may match your wedding decor. Just a couple idea's. Congrats & good luck for a long happy marriage.

Either find a place near water with lots of shade or have it indoors. Check out all the local bridal shows for ideas.
That is actually one of the reasons I decided to get married in September instead of July or August. I wanted an outdoor wedding.
Congradulations!

Texas is awfully hot in the summer. I would try to have as much of it in doors as possible. You don't want you or your guests to melt away out there.
If you do have part of the wedding outdoors, maybe you can hand out paracels, lots of ice cold water and maybe wet towels. If you do it right, it could fun and add extra style to your wedding :).

Have it inside? If you must have it outside, have a short ceremony under tents and then have the reception inside. If you must have the reception outside, have it at night and make it a very informal occasion. If you have elderly people coming, ensure that there is an Air Conditoned area they can remain in until the ceremony is about to begin. Ensure that water is avalible to everyone.

Try not to have the wedding outside-if you must though, make sure that there is some shade so the guests you invite won't be completely drenched in sweat. :)

If you really think about what you're doing, you'll find that the climate will be the least of your concerns. Even in Alaska there would be heat. Just keep it simple.

i have no tips or answers for you BUT i do have PRAISE, that you are getting married. so many women/girls have disrespected themselves and their bodies that they will never have prospects for marriage..sad but true!..marriage is honorable and will be rewarded from above..wishing only good, growth, prosperity, love learning one another (good/not so good issues).never forget to talk daily.. become the best friends either could have..respect each others thoughts/wishes..remember you will inherit each others families(learn them)they will be in your childrens lives....i don't know you but i love you for the decision to do what is right and honorable be blessed
