My ex and I are still good friends and I will be visiting him soon. I have been dating a new guy. Should I tell him or not?

why tell him.... you have no obligation to.... he is only your friend now and not your boyfriend.....

You know your ex best...how will he take it? If you really are friends, then you should be able to tell him. Telling him will let him know where you are coming from emotionally and he will be able to relate to you appropriatly. If you hide things from friends...they can sense it...and it affects the friendship in a negative way. Maybe you should be more open with your ex and your current relationship instead of hiding things. What have you got to hide...I mean loose?
When you tell him...your attitude will also determine how he responds..if you say I have some bad news and act nervous and upset and say I have a new boyfriend,,then he will take his cue from you and be upset. You have to tell him in a happy positive way and say that this is a good thing for both of us and show him how happy you are to have a good friend and boyfriend.

Are you particular he's an ex? in case you do not opt to be in a courting with the ex then you definately fairly opt to lessen the binds. And in case you fairly like this new guy do him a choose and performance understand for him and take care of him as in case you may opt to be dealt with. tell the ex that you won't be able to settle for calls or texts because you're in contact. And enable slumbering dogs lie.

I think that if you and your ex are ONLY good friends,then I would tell him before you visit him. That way there are no surprises! Most people will appreciate an honest person. If he gets upset by this news,then at least you can say you were honest with him. It can't hurt. It's better than being sneaky about it.

I don't think you should because even though you guys are good friends still, many ex's don't really want to know about the new guy in your life. But the final decision is still up to you.

Yes. If you are such good friends, he will be happy for you. If you are visiting him and he has an idea that there might still be something between you two, this will let him know that you are taken.

you too arnt together anymore so if your freinds still why not share whats new in your life ,he doesn't expect you to remain single just cuz you two arn't together does he? yes why not tell him!!
