The other town was called Nod. The inhabitants were created seperate from Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve had 4 kids, Cain, Abel, Seth and one daughter (I forgot her name). The people of Nod are seperate from the original sin as well, and are therefore without sin. It is from these people that those who have a certain "holiness" and clean spirit come from. It reads that Cain traveled to the land of Nod and there he "knew" his wife. The term "knew" is there way of saying marrying and haveing sex with. I am sure you have heard the phrase: "I didn't know so-and-so in the biblical sence. You see the bible has so many holes in the genisis story. We all know that science has proven that incest done over years causes some serious birht defects. With that in mind if Cain married his sister and the incest grew from them alone and Adam and Eve then we would probably have such sever defects (three arms or none at all etc.). that the human race would not of servived.
There is an old creation text that says that man was created from clay and the blood of a fallen god. Now if there were other gods around then it is possible that the inhabitants of Nod were made by a different god. Isn't one of the ten commandments " thou shalt not worship other gods but me". To me that is acknowledgement that god is not the only diety. After all god is just a job description not a name.

You're right, the Bible doesn't say for sure. Maybe they didn't think it was that important. After all, in the Bible, the men are more prevalent than the women (which is normal!), and it's only the paternal side that is followed. Which means, that it wasn't important who Cain married. It was some woman. Doesn't even matter where she came from.

The answer is that you're not supposed to ask those type of questions. You're supposed to absorb what your preacher and mommy and daddy tell you like a mindless sponge.
You're also not supposed to ask how all of the animals from other continents go to Noah's ark or how he got millions of species of animals on a wooden boat and all of the other logical questions that those evil "scientists" ask.
You're also not supposed to ask about all of the murder and cruel things that
God brought on people in the old testament.
Things that you should not ask about the new testament include "why would a "god" not know that a fig tree is not in it's fruit bearing season and what burning it for not bearing fruit accomplished."
These are just a few of many questions that you will have to suppress to be a Christian. Good luck.

They weren't the only people, for some reason people don't like to read the bible a little further and see that. They had brothers and sisters, and having sex with family members wasn't outlawed until after Abraham's time, because people kept sinning in weird ways and needed some boundaries and rules, you know?

It is impossible to know for sure, until we get to Heaven where all of our questions will be answered. God's ways are above our ways, and His thoughts are above our thoughts. Personally, although this is pure speculation, I believe that Cain married his sister. Cain killed his brother, Abel, therefore he never married. Alot of times, women were't mentioned as men are in the Bible. This does not mean that women were not significant, however.

I don't believe the bible says He only made Adam and only made Eve. They were just the first ones.

Maybe the story of Adam and Eve is an allegory. Everything about it speaks of symbolism. Try to understand the thought behind, or underlying, the words.

IDK if it says in the Bible, but in the Quran it says that they had many children, but there is the story of Habil and Qabil (Cain and Abel) that says back when they had only 4 children, Allah said to have both boys marry and reproduce w/ the 2 girls, but one of the sons got jealous of the other's wife and killed him over it. That is the origin of why ppl kill. Plus they probably had like a hundred kids cuz ppl lived for almost a thousand years back then.

Obviously other people were born to Adam and Eve,including daughters.
Perhaps God also made more people that simply aren't recorded.
