God's presence is not a "feeling." It's kind of like the air around you. You don't realize that it's there, but it's keeping you alive every moment of the day. Well, you don't realize that it's there until it does something. It's like that old "You can't see the wind, but you can see the effects of the wind" analogy.

You are in God's presence all the time, but you may not realize it until you look at the effects of God in your life. Are there people around you that love you? That's one effect of God's presence right there.

P.S. That would be kinda cool if there was a 1-800-CALL-GOD.

Each night, before I fall asleep, I thank Him for all of the things in my life I'm grateful for. Big and small- I make the list as long as I can. As I go over my list, I feel his presence. I also just ask for it, open myself up to it, and can often feel it that way.

knowing god and feeling god is different say that when you first found god you felt him all throw you but as time passed you have lost that feeling that you began with....as long as you know him and believe in him you will always have the feeling of him it my not be as strong as when you first got him in your live but it is because you had just got him but it may be good to read something from the bible or just pray about it

Fall in love:) (deeply, honestly).Attend lovingly to another person in great need.Let your heart open to all the sadness in the world, and let yourself grieve. (That last one sounds weird, but it really works--can't feel the joy when your heart's all blocked up with unrealised sadness. Don't have to call it a fancy name, but it is a Buddhist meditation, if you need "legitimacy":)) Get into the wilderness, and walk. For miles.Look around. REALLY look.(this is best in the rain:P).Sing.Get to know a dog, or animal of choice, on a deep and ongoing basis. That's it-- my top six.:)

Well I have learned that to 'connect' with God, you must first be friends. So to be friends, y ou don't just pray to him, you talk to him like you do any ordinary friends.. talk about everyday things with him on a daily basis, you can also reason with him.. God likes that.
Talk to him and reason with him for the benifit of others, this way you are getting to know him more, and you are not just praying for things for yourself.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER;
1jo 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1jo 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Just use your imagination. That's the usual method for contacting an imaginary Friend.
