Is she mature enough to handle it? Is he mature? Are his intentions good? I dont think there is a magical age because everyone matures differently. If you think everyone is ok, why don't you meet your daughters boyfriend and maybe take them out to dinner or let him come over and meet him.

I've always found that to be a question of maturity: some would say beginning of high school, some would say somewhere about junior year of high school. All in all, the more mature the girl, the better she could handle the problems that relationships carry and have the maturity to make the right decisions. Should your daughter have a boyfriend before the age that you find appropriate or her maturity level isn't quite there, then let her know that you're open to her being in a relationship and no matter what, she could talk to you. Even if you're not happy with the relationship, holding her back will just make her want to rebel, so rather have that, have her be able to trust you and open up to you.

I think that any age is appropriate for a boyfriend or a girlfriend, it just depends on the seriousness of the relationship, if its just a hug here and there then in all honesty, let her go out with him, its just a cute crush. But I guess it all depends on age, and how mature your daughter is. So again in all honesty you just have to think about how your daughter will react to haveing a boyfriend and if she is ready to say no. and baisically, you'll just have to go with the flow because if you dont.. she just might rebel on you.

there isn't one, it varies. When she's ready. I say 13-16. 13 for just a group date fun thing, nothing like a bf till 16. How old is she? Wants is another story, has she been asked? every girl wants a bf. She should focus on school, ur old enough to know all this.

it all depends on the maturity of the girl and the guy that she's trying to 'date'. for me, my parents wont let me have a "boyfriend" until i graduate from college. I'm still allowed to have guy friends though and we can go out as long as it's with a group of people. you should have her try group dates first and then when she gets a little older, let a guy take her out with it being just the two of them.
