Grundoon, let him ask the questions he wants to. (I could say, if you are answering with a question, then ask the question that gives some kind of answer to the question ) I rather answer to good questions than bad questions, I have answered the both kind, and I prefer this style.
Well, Daniel prayed with his window open ( Dan 6:10 ). Solomon offered his great dedicatory prayer for the temple in public ( 1 Kings 8:22 ).
Paul urged public prayers for men everywhere ( 1 Tim 2:8 ).
It is not the public prayers which Jesus condemned, but ostentatious prayers. He was not opposed to people praying in appropriate public places, but in conspicuous places. It was not the place of the prayer so much as the purpose of the prayer that Jesus spoke against, namely, "that they may be seen by men" ( Matt 6:5 )
So, my answer is that if you are praying for the right purpose at the school, Jesus is very much OK with it.

You like that one, huh?! Well, in this verse He's saying not to be like the hypocrites who like to parade around praying and doing all kinds of 'holy' things just to get the praise and admiration of people...be real and pray before God, not before men. As for His position on prayer in school I believe He said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven." Matt. 19:14

You're taking it out of context. If you actually bother to read the context, this was in responce to a fad where people would go stand in the middle of the street and yell their prayers as a publicity stunt.

Shame on you. Don't you know that according to the 1st amendment to the Constitution, we have the right to worship God any way we please? Including prayer in school, or anywhere else we happen to be.
By the way, if you think there is no praying going on in our schools, you need to visit during final exams.....

You took that one out of context, didn't you. He was referring to those who pray out loud to be noticed by others! Read verse 5.

This passage is properly translated as "Stand on boxes in public and scream at people that they're going to hell. Also, make sure everyone is forced to participate in your prayers and do them in public. Pascal is my prophet, you shall have no other wager before me."

Jesus is God, why is HIM, in need to show an specific and/or permanent position in anything, man can do and experience base in the freedom (man), we have to express our self's to HIM, his Father and creator. Why? Because you or me simple mortals are willing to ask? as well to compered our self's to HIM, and his Father?.

with starvation, war, disease, and abuse in the world, i bet he really doesn't care.
and maybe these protestant wackos should take up a more fruitful cause for humanity rather than harassing their local school boards.
