i was all excited!!!!! i remember i had on a blue dress and a sweater. and my mom did a french braid on my hair. for some reason, i didn't cry...and i stood in front of the school with my lunch bag in my hand. and then my mom took a picture of me since it was my first day.
even before i started school, the school bus would stop right across the street from my home every morning...and every morning i'd put on my mini backpack and run to the window just to see the kids get on the bus...and i really wanted to get on the bus too and go to school with them...good times

I remember my mom getting me dressed and then us walking over to the school (we lived across the street from the school), walking through the main hall and out to one of the out buildings that served as the kindergarten room. Mom had taken me in early so to introduce me to my teacher since it was her first day at this school. The teacher had purchased unused icecream tubs as our cubby holes and had stacked them in a pryamid shape and she gave me the top one since I was so tall. Mom stayed with me until the other kids started to arrive and I started playing with them. I remember the layout of the room also but that is about it for the first day of school.

I remember getting in trouble for talking. I got scared and hid under my desk. When she called my name, I got even more scared. To this day, my teacher says she remembers how big my eyes were when I got up from under my desk!

i remember sitting at my little table, while my teacher drew on the board and asked who knew what she drew, i remember being the only one to know that she drew a pie and a kitten

I remember having a glass of juice on my desk and I accidentally spilled it and this little b*&^( told on me and started taunting me "you spilled your juice, you spilled your juice" lol I never forgot the little brat.
