So i sneezed, and them some tard told me god bless you and i didnt say anything back. Was that rude and how so?

no, saying nothing back was not necessarily rude, although how much precious breath would it have cost you? however, calling them a 'tard' WAS rude-

Usually, you're supposed to say thank you. "God bless you" means you're excused from sneezing and it's a rude noise to make. But it doesn't really matter. I don't know what God has to do with excusing your sneezing, it's just something people say without think about it like "God damn it." Why does God get involved into everything? Or even holy sh**. What's so holy about that?

Yes, it's actually quite rude. A simple 'thank you' would have taken approximately two seconds of your time.
That's the problem with the world today - manners and basic respect for others have gone down the drain and left most human beings as nothing but low-class, ignorant morons.

that was not rude. you dont have to say anything if someone says that to you. but that person was just being nice. they said God Bless you so that you will be blessed in life with many things, from health to wealth.

There is nothing wrong with being polite, saying thank you does not validate whether you believe there is or isn't a God. It really isn't an opening comment to a theological discussion.
But, not responding isn't as terrible as condemning the person for saying that to you.

well it is sorta cuz ur supposed to say thank you, but it's not really a big deal...in spanish we dont say bless you we actually say salud which means 'health'. we say it so the person who sneezed wont get sick.

The parents. I blame the parents. For some reason, they seem to have forgotten to teach these younguns such simple courtesies as "please" and "thank you". It isn't your fault you're rude, crude, and none too shrewd. It's your shameful upbringing.
