Some software will ask you during the install process if you want all users or only youself to access to the program. Some don't. If the latter is the case then you can delete the shortcuts to the program for the other users. Here's how:

Go to my computer and double click on the local disk (C:)
double click on documents and settings
double click on all users
double click on start menu
double click on programs
right click on the folder for the program in question and select cut
click on the back button until you see all users again
double click on your account then start menu then programs
right click in the window and select paste.

you now are the only person who has the shortcuts for the program

I'm surprised you are having this problem. When I install a program while logged in to my account, the program is never accessable from the other accounts on my computer.

My suggestion is to make sure that you are logged in to the account you want to be able to use the program in. When installing, if the wizard gives you options, check that the setting are what you want them to be, with respect to folder locations. Also, you might want to check the folder attributes after the program is installed, to make sure that it has not inhereted any unwanted attributes, such as permissions and sharing.
