God gives everyone gifts-there's nothing wrong with, say, Aaron Neville using the gift of a beautiful voice to make a good living-and in doing so, he has also touched a lot of people-if you ever heard him sing 'ave maria' or an old gospel song, then you have been touched by God-given beauty, and are the richer for it...but God does want us to use the gifts we have to help others also-there's no reason you can't do both-

Everyone has a God given gift, it's just that some choose not to use it for God's glory. I believe that my God given gifts are working with children and writing poetry. I try to do things like working with the kids at church as well as other places, and setting a good Christian example for them, and I also write poems that glorify God.

Well, God gave me the gift of musical talent. I use it to worship Him and to lead others in worship.
