I'm not exactly sure what you mean by emphasizing "earthly?" but I do believe that the Bible is the final authority on everything.

The Bible was written by politicians and chartlatans. Fast forward to today, that would mean Congress subcommittees with men from states you're not from.

That, and prophets..... who are the people who Jesus is talking to today? They're crazy homeless people. The difference is that 2000 years ago, people who could write thought those whackjobs were the inspired people.

I take it then that you reject the Constitution of the United States and the freedoms it guarantees American citizens. This supports then the increasingly common observation that religious fundamentalism and democracy are inherently in conflict. The question then is: are you really sure of what happens after you drink the kool-aid?

The KJ V Bible is the true word of God. There are no missing books in this Bible. It comes complete. Jesus is the living word, and the Bible is the written word, and i believe them both.

No, if you believe in the Bible, you will find that Jesus tells Peter "You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church." He also tells him, "I give you the keys to the kingdom." This is the installation of the Church's magisterium (teaching power) and of the papacy. The pope is the Vicar of Christ on Earth.
