Sounds like one cat may just be getting more than its share... If the food you're currently using is one they both will eat, try putting it up where the skinny cat can get to it and the fat cat has to work to reach (I have a VERY fat cat... definitely can't jump as high as he used to!). Hopefully this will give the skinny one a better shot at the food as well as give the fat one some much needed excercise.

This is only a suggestion...however is there some thing happening at residence that might positioned your doggie beneath pressure? My brother has a boston, and she or he reacts SO strongly to what is going on with the individuals round her. It might be that she's reacting to the outside forces round her. Make definite you preserve her in a reliable and loving atmosphere (that is sounds such as you do) and keep on with ONE company of meals. You would believe you are doing her a provider by means of checking out distinct meals, however possibilities are you are simply complicated her much more. Science Diet is a high-quality company, best and healthful. That's what I might keep on with. Keep doing what you are doing, leaving her meals out for 20 mins. If you are particularly severe, preserve a log approximately how a lot she's consuming and while. Do this for a at the same time, and if she's no longer bettering, take her and the magazine to a vet to peer if it might be some thing bodily happening together with her. Good good fortune!

Purina ONE is a good brand, has weight control formula that shouldn't hurt your skinny cat. My cat loves it and is in good health. Make sure you measure out a healthy amount for your cats to eat. It's usually a cup of food a day, but I don't know how you would keep the fat one from eating the skinny cat's food. Maybe your vet would have some ideas, just call and they should have some good advice.

Try separating them to feed them. That way you can control how much each cat gets to eat. A high quality, low fat food is good for any adult cat that's not severely underweight.
Petsmart makes a good store brand food (Authority). For the price, it has the best quality ingredients. I'm very particular about what I feed my cats, and I read labels closely. I have one cat with weight issues and one with severe problems with hairballs, and they've both done very well on the Authority low fat hairball control food. He's lost weight and she rarely has hairballs anymore. Our third cat was quite skinny when we brought her home and has filled out nicely on the same food.
