This is the law of karma. People reap what they sow. Whatever we put out always comes back to us whether good or bad. Our bad karma from our previous life if it is not completed will be completed in this life.

Dear doc4life,
You have not read the Bible, correct? So many of the questions that have been asked here (Religion & Beliefs) are answered in the Bible. And when you read it in the Bible, it is like sitting at the feet of God (the Lord Jesus Christ). Most people are impatient and lazy .....they do not want to study. However, God tells us study to show thyself approved unto God, a workmen rightly dividing the word of truth. That is the reason that many pastors have come up with doctrines that contradict the word of God--they have not done appropriate study. Why is there so much variation between Christian denominations? God only gave us 1 Bible so, either one of these denominations is right (correct in doctrine) or perhaps all of them are incorrect!! One would think that over the time that the Bible has been in print or accessible to people, the denominations would ALL come to unity in terns of doctrine and practice. But that has not happened! In fact, there is more variation among the denominations than ever before!
Concerning your question, I would recommend reading the Bible slowly and prayerfully asking the Lord to teach you. For further info check out this web site: www.familyradio.com. I hope this will help you.

--Barber's Don't Exisit
A man went to a barber shop to have his hair and his beard cut as always. He began to have a good conversation with the barber who attended him. They talked about so many things and various subjects. Suddenly, they touched on the subject of God.
The barber said: "Look man, I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, it's so easy, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God does not exist. Oh, tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God exists, there would be no suffering nor pain. I can't think of loving a God who permits all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but he didn't respond because he did not want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barber shop, he saw a man in the street with long hair and a beard. It was very long, and a long time since he had his hair cut and he looked dirty and unkempt. The customer entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say they don't exist?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here and I am a barber. Why I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did there would be no people with long hair and beard like that man who is outside."
"Ah, barbers do exist.... what happens is that people do not come to me."
"Exactly!!" - affirmed the customer.
"That's the point! God does exist. What happens is people don't go to Him and do not look for Him! That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."
If evreyone belived in God, whorshipped him, and worked to please him there would be no poor, orphaned, raped, murdered, tourtered, etc. Because they would all work to get their deed's for they belived God did exisit and they needed to work hard to get the reward of Heaven. Everyone would donate and adopt and support justice, if they all belived that one day they would be accountable for evry atom of which they have done in the world. No atom of good deed or bad deed will be forgotten when Judgement Day comes.

This is an often asked question and it's a very good one. It's hard to look out at the world and see the cruelty and pain and think, where's God in this?
God did not create the world as we see it today. This world is fallen because of the sin of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. Sin entered the world and has snowballed....this is the result of it.
God is not an uncaring God who has no compassion. The bible tells us He is slow to anger, has mercy, forgiveness, He understands and loves us.
One day God will step in and put all things right. Even the bible says nature groans (waiting to be delivered from this fallen world). Don't despair; in that day, swords will be made into plowshares.

God is just an ideal, not a being. Just something you strive to live up to, something that you feel you must answer to for the way you think or the way you live your life. God doesn't cause things to happen; God just causes people to make the things that are within their control happen a certain way.

Because God gives everyone freewill. When bad things happen it is because someone disobeyed God For example if a child is killed, it is because someone committed murder, where as when a natural disaster comes and destroys a city it is often a punishment for the way the people are living, (The tsnami and the hurricanes)

it's so easy to blame God for the bad things here when man is the cause of it all in the garden. Yes in the very first book of the Bible God said man became so evil that He was sorry He ever created us. Man turned away from God and left God no choice but to turn away from man because being a pure and Holy God, He could not look upon sin. Yet man wants to blame God for all the bad stuff in this world.
Man has been separated from God because man chose to turn away from Him but God loving us so much has provided another way for us to come back to Him.
He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins so we wouldn't have to. Still...many won't come back to Him.
If anyone wants to come back to God then He must do it the way God has provided...through His Son. Christ is alive and well and many millions out here have found Him. No other way. Jesus said...I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man can come to the Father but through me. Want to know God? Seek Jesus the Christ. He will not turn you away. Want to know about Christ? Read about Him in the Book of John. Them....want to KNOW Christ? Seek Him. He is not far.

It seems you've got the idea that God made some sort of promise that bad things would never happen to people who follow him. News flash - he never said any such thing. He actually said the opposite - that things would actually be worse at times for those who follow him.

There is a God. He should never be blamed for bad things that happen. Sometimes He allows to happen to test your Faith. Some people bring it upon themselves. No matter what happens, he has a reason for it. He wants to draw us closer to Him, and learn to put our Faith, and Trust in Him.
