Sugar and lemons. Water will make the lemonade taste less sweet, so try not to use any at all.

A tall glass of ice water.....2 or 3 lemon wedges....2 or 3 or 4 packets of sugar or Sweet-n-Low....makes a good glass of lemonade and a free drink at a restaurant when you're low on cash. ;-)

First you make a simple syrup of sugar dissolved in water and bring to a boil. Then cool. Juice your lemons and add that juice to the simple syrup - then add enough water to taste. It is wonderful!
