how come the ones that dont even try and that ccould care less have everything go their way, but the ones that need it to go their way n the ones that deserve it to go their way always get screwed......................

If you are too unselfish, then you come across as needy and desperate. Desperate people tend to scare people off.

Perhaps you need to learn how to be more independent (I.E.: you have your own life outside of her), and you need to stand up for yourself (without losing your cool). People tend to value you more if they realize that you could survive just fine without them if you wanted to; In other words, she should realize by your actions that you are with her because you want to be, not because you have no other options (If you have to actually say it, then it is less convincing for some reason.).

In addition, I think that deep down inside, most women still want a guy who can protect them. If you are not assertive enough, many women will think that you will not be able to protect them.

That is a good question b/c i ask my self that all the time. The only conclusion I keep on coming up with is that it won't b like that always. They r the ones who r willing do what ever it takes 2 make them selves happy. We r the people who trhink about other first. Good things r coming but u just gotta have some patients.
