No it won't but it will make a mess. Try chlorine shampoo like Paul Mitchells Shampoo 1 or 2 either one will take the green out. Not a lot of money? Try using baking soda in your shampoo once a week. Just a teaspoon in the palm then mix your shampoo in and let it set in your hair for about 10 mins.

I have never heard this. I do know as the above answer stated that Paul Mitchell shampoo 1&2 will get the green out. Next time wet your hair with tap or bottled water befoer you swim. Your hair will already saturated with clean water so no other water will be able to penatrate your hair shaft.

I've never heard that before. Tomato will increase shine.

Clarifying shampoo or demineralizing treatment will remove green from blonde hair.

One way to avoid the green is wet your hair down with tap water before entering the pool. Your hair will absorb less chlorine.
