Recently i posted a question asking if it was wrong for me to date 4 guys at the same time. I got a few nasty responses.
Isn't the woman's ultimate responsibility to find the right man to procreate with, in order to maintain the survival of the species, and not procreate with the less than desireable? How can she find the right man if she cannot date around?
I would think it should be more accepting for a woman to be the stud, since she bears such a burden.

Who cares what the jealous people think? You have to do what is right by you (as long as you are not hurting anyone else). If you let the mean people control you, then how will you ever find the "one" to marry? You are not going to marry any of these mean people, so forget what they say and concentrate on the people who like you.

Who said that there's anything wrong with dating around..... ? It's usually the sleeping around that gets peoples panties all bunched up. I think that the same standard should apply to both guys and girls..... I'm a guy and I've dated around without sleeping around.... I'm not a man-whore and it's fun to have the ball in my corner and do some turning down every once in a while ;)

My first off the hip response would be: The Baptist made that rule. "You females should be submissive to your male counterparts!!!"
But the reality is that we are all individuals with individual ideas about how our lives should be lived. As long as your not killing, raping, or in short, adding to the dilapidation of this society I don't see why there should be any issues. But your motives should be pure. Good luck on your search.

You are right don't worry. I heard that the best way to find your soul mate is to date at least 20 guys in your life or something like that, one or 2 is not enough.

Ignorance of people in general. There is a difference between "going out" and "dating". If you can go out with 100 that's cool but if you date, it should be one at a time.

unfortunatly there is a double standard between male and females. but what is good for guys should be good for the ladies. although it would suck if i was guy #3 and you picked guy #4! lol
