There is this guy that I like a LOT that goes to my church. He's my friend's older brother and he is giving me totally mixed signals. If he sees me looking at him he smiles-not a fake one but a REAL smile. Sometimes if he catches me looking at him and I look at the floor then look up and he's smiling a lot. We talk sometimes and he's a really great person but once I saw his friends teasing him about a girl he liked. Last time I saw him, for some reason I was giving him a high-five and we clasped hands. He sat there and rocked my hand from side to side and looked me in the eyes and smiled. Is he trying to tell me he's interested or was he just being friendly? Im trying to tell him I like him without words because im so afraid of being shot down. Should I keep on trying or give up? Any advice on how to tell him im interested without making a scene? We cant publicly date cause of his parents but I feel like I have a chance! Help please!

Grl u need 2 just continue what u doin, Nothing. He know u like him; he just want u 2 make the first move b/c that's what he's probably use 2, if u r the type 2 make moves of guys then go ahead and do yo thang, let him know what tha deal is. But if not just let things play their self out.

Sounds like he clearly likes you. But what is the age difference. Either this could be a sweet crush, or kinda creepy. Since you mention you can't date him publicly because of his parents it makes me wonder?
If there isn't a weird age difference or anything he could just feel awkward. My brother's best friend never really acted like he liked me (more than friends, but he was kinda shy too), but after I got married I heard he was kinda disappointed.
So I think he likes you the question is I guess, Is this an appropriate relationship? Could it hurt your friendship if they got caught in the middle? Is it worth risking?

It sounds very much like he's intersted, but that he's really nervous about whether you're interested or not. I suggest you make it unabigously clear that you are interested in him. Kissing him (a proper kiss on the mouth, not a peck on the cheek) would do the trick, or you could just ask him out on a date. giving him lots of compliments would probably help too.

It would have helped a little if you said how much older he is than you. Maybe he thinks your to young for him. If your close in ages maybe he's just really Shy. It's 2006 Ask him if he'd like to go for a walk or something and let the moment take care of itself.

I had that problem. I actually had the guy grab and hold my hand twice. but he told me he didnt like me..well enough about me. I think you could be bold and go for it and ask him if he likes you. See what he says. Or you could wait around and see what he does next. He sounds really nice and friendly. I think he might just be really friendly. Who knows. Pray about it. That always helps

Get him cornered and tell him how you feel. It sounds like he's really into you. If your folks ask, be bold. Say that he is your crush (don't tell them unless they suspect something or until after he tells you that he does in fact like you.)

he seems like interested in you but prolly he is in the same dilemma as you are.. you could make the first move and see how his reaction would be.. if you dont feel like doing the first move, give him hints and see if he will make any moves. If he still doesnt, then might as well give up and move on.
