God is real. Seeing might be believing to you, but if you did see him would you recognize him and believe? I doubt most would. Sometimes that's not enough for some. I think faith is enough to have and have the desire to choose the right. You need proof? Just look around, everything is a miracle!

There is no empirical proof for the existence of God. However, knowing that, I still choose to believe. Some people believe; others don't. Life rolls on.

Perhaps you're living within the Matrix. Follow the White Rabbit to the nearest exit sign. There you'll find the man with the keys; he goes by Key Holder. After he opens the door, get on your knees and pray for forgiveness. That's when you'll see God.

Can you see the love from your family? Prove they love you. The Doubting Thomas had to see the nail scars and sword wound on our Savior after he rose from the dead because he wouldn't believe until he saw "evidence" that this was the Christ. The term is based on the Biblical account of Thomas the Apostle, who doubted the resurrection of Jesus and demanded to feel Jesus' wounds before being convinced (John 20:24-29). After seeing Jesus alive and receiving the opportunity to touch his wounds — according to the author of the Gospel of John — Thomas professed his faith in Jesus; on this account he is also called Thomas the Believer.

Why do you believe your parents or your wife or children love you? There's no credible evidence of that either----is there? Can you prove by sight they love you, or do they just do what they do for you out of obligation and responsibility?

Why do you believe that anyone loves you? You have no credible evidence of that either----except they tell you they love you, they do things that show they love you, and they do not betray you. When your friends or your family are insulted or people are rude and mean to them because you love them---even though you cannot prove they love you----wouldn't you stand to defend them?

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I know that for a fact, because he told me so in His Word---the Bible. Jesus Christ died on the cross for the salvation of the world. I know that for a fact, because it's part of human history, because it's prophesied in the Old Testament, and came to pass and was fulfilled in the New Testament documents. I know he loves me and will keep his promises----the same way you know your parents love you and will keep theirs.

And that's no myth.

Proof that god exists? We don't even have proof that mathematics exists (see Godel's theorem -- where he proves that mathematics has to be taken as an article of faith).
