Also, where her tooth was, there is what looks like a very small piece of gum tissue hanging down. It's like that was what filled the hole in the tooth. I don't know if this makes sense to anyone, but advice would be helpful!
There was no cavity (recent checkup) and no discoloration.

Don't worry My son did the same he's 7 but when he was 6 he told me that a kid from school had pulled it out I got furious cause I looked and saw the same thing you did and thought that they had pulled it out to early and had messed up his tooth I went to school made a big fuss over it then took him to the dentist and he said it was all normal and well now he's tooth has grown in fine so don't worry that was the last time he pulled a tooth out or lets anyone touch his mouth just tell her not to pull any more teeth out or her teeth will grow crooked(although it's not true but she doesn't have to know that)

The hole was probably a cavity and the tissue was probably connected to the root of the tooth. Don't wory, it sounds as this is her first baby tooth to fall out. If you are concerned just take her to a dentiist but I doubt if you have anything to worry about.

It's fine. If it's a baby tooth, leave it alone and NEVER TRY TO RE-IMPLANT A BABY TOOTH! You can damage the developing permanent one. If your child gets a permanent tooth knocked out, you'll know it because of the long roots. Put the tooth in milk or saliva and go to the dentist ASAP!

That's normal, it probably just shows that her permanent teeth have yet to start growing, it probably means that something or other knocked her tooth loose. Otherwise you would see the new tooth growing in.

Normal!!! When a baby tooth is on its way to getting loose, the roots resorb. What you are seeing is the pulp of the tooth (tissue). It is normal to see that.
