I wouldn't go for any of the two options. But I'll say vodka and orange juice. Tried vodka with coke once, didn't like it at all.

Try vodka with cranberry juice, ginger ale. Vodka with ice tea (if you want something really smooth).

Vodka and Orange juice taste much better, if you want to mix something with coke, try a little spiced rum. a tip for Vadka and OJ, get the frozen concentrate OJ and instead of water, mix it with diluted vodka

OJ. Vodka/Coke tastes like watered-down Coke with a kick, and at least with OJ you get some health benefits and ward of the dehydration effects of alcohol.


Try this:

4 oz. vodka
8 oz orange juice
1 scoop orange sherbet

Blend this ... it's called an Orange Freeze.

Definitely vodka and OJ (AKA "screwdriver"). In Russia, vodka was NEVER mixed with anything but water, but here, in the US, we can mix it with just about anything ... Juices are the preferred choice of mixers, simply because it adds flavor to an otherwise flavorless drink. Some vodkas may be stonger alcohol-wise and certain juices "tame" the harshness of the alcohol. Colas and other sodas are generally added to other spirits, such as rum or whisky. But ... to each his own! If you prefer to add Coke to your vodka, go ahead ... but make sure you are old enough to do so, please ...
