Because it's fun to get the all riled up, it's the same reason you tap on the glass of a fish tank.

Why put questions to (X group of people) as though they are people with valid opinions and not mindless zombies???????
Why are Christians always targeted? Are you afraid of us? What exactly did we ever do to you? Perhaps our opinions are quite valid since you single us out over all the other religious groups...

Dear ReligiousRanter:
Your handle speaks volumes... at any rate, I am a "Christian," albeit 'esoteric' and NOT connected to any sect. Still, your "across-the-board" generalization is, as you probably suspect in your "heart of hearts," absurd... and even as "retarded" as those you seek to pigeon-hole. Actually, I'd put my intellect up against yours any day, anytime... and win. For you, dear mislead one, have an "oppositional mentality..." a 'polarizing' one... just like the religious extremists with whom you seek to incite or "do battle." you would then predictably toss about "put-downs" by casting dispersions at one another and getting nowhere intellectually. Alternatively, you'd benefit intellectually, if you instead adopted a more reflexive and insightful redacted mentality... one that truly contemplates the dogma and lunacies within a group that does them disservice. I'll not argue that many "born-again" holier-than-thou" types are lacking a sophisticated intellect that gives them the ability for discernment and realistic sensibilities. However, the same can apparently be said for you a from the 'tone' or syntactical posturing of your question. I guess illiteracy is present in all walks of life and therefore more a social-educational failing for which we collectively are culpable and responsible for letting happen. However, for future reference, you are better to not throw the baby out with the bathwater, and actually seek understanding rather than conflict. I importune a dialogue with you if you're so inclined... you may benefit from the connection as I may gain further perspective from you if you put forth your best quality of dialogue for my perusal.

I'm a christian religion basher frequently but c'mon dude have taste and maybe try not to directly insult people. it will increase your longevity within the community. if you wish to have any power in what you say then try framing it around a meaningful issue.
good luck

You are asking the wrong person - ask Jesus. He will answer with the truth, if only you will listen.
