Just turned 21 and don't wanna look like a Dumb@$$ ordering drinks. What do y'all recommend????

order something classy... like a gin and tonic or a cape cod...(vodka and cranberry juice.) Forget all those pain in the butt drinks. Bartenders hate making them, and they take forever. If you don't like the taste of alcohol, try an amaretto sour. But seriously, stay away from the blended drinks or martini style drinks. The hangover is much worse from all that sugar anyway. The most important piece of advice I can give you is: TIP WELL!!! If you want good drinks, take care of your bartender!

Well if you don't drink a lot, start with a blended drink because they're easy to get down.
Like a Strawberry Daquiri or a Pina Colada. Plus they taste good!
Those are pretty much made everywhere. Or you could ask for a Vodka on the rocks or something like that.
You won't sound dumb.

depends on what you like
sweet drinks are Cosmopolitians, armaretto stone sours, tequllia sunrise etc.
I would start out with a simple Tang and Sprite with a splash of roses lime juice. Its very good
Or go to bartender.com and look up drinks just be sure you remember what goes in them cuz drinks can be called different names in different places and the bartender might not know what you are talking about.
or just ask the bartender what her specialty is.. Trust me I am a bartender and over half of the people that come in dont know what they want, they ask me to suggest things. You just need to let the tender know if you want sweet or fruity or hard etc......

High quality gin and tonic. Van Gogh and Citadel are very nice. The gin and tonic is a great summer drink and is very refreshing. Or maybe a good whiskey or bourbon. Ask for it neat (straight) or on the rocks. Try not to order anything pink or blue.

Hmm, just state that you just turned 21, look cute and let others order your drinks for you, they may even buy em for ya! if that does not work, you should try a Jaeger bommer, it is jaggermeister in red-bull, yummy and a bit of a pick me up
