Okay My Boyfriend of nearly a year left for England in march, on business. He is a lineman. We talk on the phone a lot, and on the internet most evenings after he get back to his rented apartment. But as of lately my feeling for him have been dropping. I think I still love him but? I really want to tell him we need a break to see what would happen. He isn’t coming back till September. Should I say something or just keep on with it and wait till he comes home? I would never cheat!!! So don’t say what he don’t know won hurt him. But if I do tell him, I would like to do it in a letter, easier for me but that would be hard for him and I don’t want that. But if I tell him on the phone that will be easier for him, and harder on me but I don’t know what to do? What should I do Help!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way I'm 26 and he is 30.

This won't happen oten he alomst always work in the states. He says he can count on one hand the number of times he has had to be away from home this long.

Do you think if he was still her your interest would be fading? Maybe it is just that you want someone that you can do things with so the relationship feels more real to you. Only you know if this guy is worth waiting for. If you think he is but you are lonely (waiting to talk to him instead of going out)than find something to occupy your time and let him know how you have been feeling so he will understand. If you decide he is not than you need to let him know before he comes back. I think the internet is a good compromise if you have to tell him goodbye.

I've been through a similar situation. We were apart for 6 months and we barely got to speak to each other because he was in basic training, now he is going to Iraq for over a year. Hanging out with friends sometimes made it better but sometimes it made it worse. Do you just miss him or do you really want to be with someone else? It's okay if you want to be with someone else but he deserves to know how you truly feel. He may have similar feelings, but the next time you get to talk to him whether it is on the phone or on the internet you need to tell him how you truly feel.

well by now at your age you should be mature enough to be honest. I'm sure he's having alot of the same feelings. Long distant relationships are difficult. If you 2 are meant to be together then time is the only factor in your way. Sometimes we need the break from one another to see if things were really meant to be. Just be honest with him and yourself..If you two really love each other and were meant to spend the rest of your lives together then things will have a way of working themselves out

Long Distance relationships are never easy. If I was you and there's no other guy your really interested in. I'd wait till he gets home and see if those feelings flare up again. But one question He's traveling for his job Will this be a Continous thing and if so are you willing to deal with all the Gaps in the relationship.

I guess, go with your heart. If you really really love him you'll wait for him. But then again, that is a long time to be away from each other. If he is going to be gone several months in the future, I would consider hitting the road. If this is just a one time deal, and you love him, I would stick it out. I'm sure he misses you just as much as you miss him. Good Luck!!

I think that the part you THINK you still like him is not right. You should pe positive about that wether you like him or not. And If you really like him then keep going. But make sure that he does not cheat with you. Be honest and speak truth. GOOD LUCK

this does not have to be this hard!!!!!!!! the two of you are in love and you are apart. that is hard. but remember love is what is left over when falling in love has faded. chill out you are already on a break. you said you would not cheat and if he loves you he will not either. consider this a test to see what is left over. good luck.

HE can take the news, just say that the relationship ain't working! maybe if you see him all the emotions will come back just be honest with him let him know how you feel!! Dint hide it!
