From personal experience all I an say is DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY! If being near the top of your tax bracket brings you happiness then go for it! If not, find what makes you happy and go for that! Find your true passion, what it is that makes you happy and then find a way to make money doing that. Then, and only then, will you be truly wealthy! Good luck and rock on!

Where is your guarantee that you will make it to the top of your tax bracket? Just remember that you can have millions of dollars and material possessions, and people will want to be "friends" with you because of that. Why not establish friends who will stick with you through the bad times and the good??
