Confront them first. This does not mean dump them, but confront them on what you heard. Dont trust everything you hear before you talk to your bf/gf. They are the ones you are supposed to trust, after all.

That's a tough one. You could dump her first it might piss her off, but on the other hand you can leave her with the burden with dumping you. Then if she realizes she was making a mistake its her fault. When I found out my girlfriend was going to dump me once, I told her at the same time I agreed with her and did it mutually. However dumped people can get sympathy a lot of the time.
It's a tough choice you should pick the option that has the best benefits to you.

wait till he dumps you. its a bad idea to dump him if your not really sure that he is going to dump you. if you heard it in a rumor then dont dump him
