Last sunday when I went to church with my parents, I sat next to a couple who would kiss and love on each other during service. It kinda bothered me because I'm single and not seeing anybody and plus I was taught that we need to show respect for God's house.

I meant during when the pastor is giving a sermon, not during weddings

My husband has always kissed me before he gets out of the car to come open the door for me, and after every prayer at home. It's a nice habit, but it's a habit, just the same. It's automatic.
One Sunday after a prayer at church, he kissed me. Caught me by surprise, but it was kind of funny. I don't think it embarrassed anyone, but it wasn't a deep, passionate, longing sort of kiss.
Kissing during services instead of being involved in worshiping God is probably not a good idea. I can understand people being offended. It's not really make-out time....

I like the idea of affection in a Christian context, but there's probably such a thing as taking it too far.
I can think of one occasion in which I was guilty of taking it too far in church. I was about 13, and thought I was the only person on Earth with hormones. Another neighborhood kid and I were necking in the pew in full view of the pastor, who just smiled at us and kept on preaching. It wasn't at my church, so I didn't care. I was visiting a Pentecostal revival. The pastor seemed kind of amused by our antics.
The more I think about your question, the more I'm prompted to ask a question of my own:
What's wrong with love, anyway?
In a world full of war, terrorism and violence, the last thing that's going to bother me is two people making out, regardless of where they're doing it.
Worship God and let them be.

Hmmm...
gOd would want us to love ..
Even at his house !!
And the priest who go after
children, gOd would want you
to report them so they can
know how love should be expressed
as love is meant to be.
A kissing couple in church is better
than a couple fighting or yelling ....
gOd wouldn't look down on the couple
you saw, but HE might be looking
at you wondering, why does it concern
you so much that his children are
expressing love & not hate .....
That they care so much for each
other that it doesn't matter where they
are .... gOd kisses you everyday as
you live & breathe .....
You could say they did show respect
in gOd's house by expressing love
right there in front of HIM .....

The only kissing that should happen in church is when the groom kisses the bride during a wedding.

Yes, it's ok. God is Love. Sometimes my husband and I have a quick peck when a part of the sermon touches our heart. There's nothing wrong with being single, it's just a step to your soulmate which I hope you can wait for because it will be worth it.

I don't object to a quick kiss between loved ones at the sign of peace, but what you are describing just isn't appropriate behavior during community worship.

Yes, it is ok to kiss in church. The bible commands that women should not talk in church and that is the best way to shut a woman up!

They always kiss after weddings -- so it must not be against the rules.
Lots of people have problems with public displays of affection. I have bigger problems with public displays of anger or violence.
Your reasons for being offended are selfish. Work on that.

No since it is not OK but actually extremely perverted to even be in a slave religion church. Especially the most evil, destructive kind of church - a christ insanity church.
