Gegen means against

The song title would translate as "Man Against Man"

gegen means fred.
So the title should read "Mann fred Mann"

Well that's translation of "genen" which is approximately. But if you type in the whole phrase the meaning changes and it is then: Man against man.

"Gegen" would only mean "approximately" when referring to time for example, like in "Treffen wir uns gegen 14 Uhr", meaning "let's meet at about 2 p.m." or "Ich war gegen 14 Uhr dort" - "I arrived there around 2 p.m.".
But in your case it DEFINITELY means "against"!

It means "against", man against man.

Scotty is the Man.

Big laugh.

Man against man.

Have you heard any Böhse Onkelz, cracking band. "Nicht ist fur die entwigkeit" is my fave (spelling may be out!)

I think it is the verb "to go".

Could the translation be "Go, mann, go!'
