I don't think so. Sometimes you need someone else to talk to. And if it keeps you from actually sleeping around on your partner, than cool. I don't think it's any different then having a close friend that you talk to. I have guy & girl friends that I ***** to online. I'm not good at making friends in person and my family doesn't live near-by so the internet gives me a chance to talk to people I would have never met otherwise.

People! - if you really think that people in a relationship never even think of another person, you are living in a dream wold. Yes, possibly an on-line relationship can get out of control but if well managed it is like reading a book, or watching a move.
There are so many bad things going on around us, let not worry about people having a bit of fantasy on line

if you are in arelationship with someone and talking to someone else even online your not being true to the person your with ,it doesnt matter ,cheating is cheating if you are more than freinds with online freind .you are still having some type of relationship even if it's not sexual in the flesh. why do you call it a relationship .end it now before someone gets hurt or just be single ,you want your cake and eat it 2!!! doesnt work well that way

Yes it is cheating even if it's not physical it's emotional and therefore feeling come into actions.

I dont think its cheating as long as youre honest about it ,and let the other person know what it is that the realationship consists of.

If you feel guilty about it, it is cheating, It doesnt matter if you arnt sleeping with somebody else, If you have that emotional hold then its not right.
