What is going to happen to my dog?

He drank some beer that was wasted on the floor what is going to happen to him? Plzzzzzzzzzz help me out! All non stupid answers will be appreciated.

The dog will be fine. A little spill of beer will have no effect and even a glass full will merely make him sleepy and give him a bit of a headache.

If he drank just a little, it's probably nothing to worry about. This doesn't mean that you should ever let your dog drink.

A couple of years ago, every time I would set down and can of beer, my chocolate lab would try to drink it. Nothing bad happened to him. He didn't get sick or anything, but he did cut his toung on the can. I don't know why he had a beer craving, but he did. It's gone now. I have no idea why he ever did that. I didn't GIVE him the beer, I would just set in on the table and the minute I turned my back, he was trying to drink it.

Nothing may happen to the dog, it depends on the size of the dog(body mass) as compared to the amount of beer consumed. Lots of water is good, but most of the time they just sleep alot after. What you can do is keep a close eye on him, monitor him see if he's having problems breathing at anytime...oh and most of all make sure you supervise him if he's moving around.( we don't want him wondering off, falling down the stairs or getting hit by anything or getting stepped on)

you did not say how much wasted beer he drank. if less then half a glass then nothing will happen to him. he might have a headache or act hung over later but that should be all. JUST BE SURE THAT FROM NOW ON YOU CLEAN UP ALL WASTED BEER/DRINKS BEFORE YOU TURN ANIMAL LOOSE IN THE AREA WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN PARTYING.

alcohol can be very dangerous to animals. they can have serious results(heart attachks, poisoning) from this stuff. clean up immediately in the future. if any signs that may concern you take him to your ver.

If it wasn't much -- don't worry; I have heard of some skanky people who have actually thought it was funny to give their dogs beer and get them drunk -- the dogs lived through it and were fine, but no doubt felt real sick for a while. How long ago did this happen? If he or she seems to be doing okay, everything should be fine.

My sister had one that loved beer. If you woud open one anywhere in the house he could hear that can crack and come running. He would beg for beer. He liked tacos also.
He was about 50 pounds and never seemed to have any trouble if he had one.
He would tip over your can to get at it.
We would put him outside more often but other than that he seemed to have no side affects. He lived for 15 years.

He might get drunk. One of our puppies drank a whole beer when we weren't looking and spent the afternoon staggering about and finally fell asleep. She was fine when she woke up.

He might puke and feel ill, but I don't think it would hurt him more than that. Try and get him to drink some water.

Someone told me about a dog that ate 48 chocolates with alchohal and was fine. I wouldn't worry but if he starts looking sick or gets sick take him to the vet. Good luck!

my father is a vet... i'm pretty sure if ur dog didn't drink a whole lot he'll be just fine... even if it was quite a bit he might act a little weird for a day or two but i'm sure he'll be fine... dogs have a pretty strong imune system

He'll be fine. Depending on how much he drank, he might get a little buzzed, but that is all.
