Hey I'm a violin player and was just wondering how many orchestra players are here on this site. Just wonderin'. thanks for replying if you do.

I play violin, viola and cello. I have a working knowledge of the bass but do not yet own one. (hope to soon, though.) I am a stringed instrument teacher and play viola in an orchestra because that is the instrument they have the least of.

i played the violin for 6 years and the cello for 2. the guitar is what caught my eye though.
so yeah i did.

I played cello through high school and college, but alas, I no longer own a cello of my own. I hope to save up enough money soon to buy one and start playing again.

i dont play any string instruments, i play keyboard, flute, piccolo, trumpet, baritone, french horn, tuba, and percussion instruments, pretty much everything that doesnt need a reed...
