BATF and FBI are now claiming that those who defend the 2nd amendment are terrorists?
History has shown that a disarmed populace is soon massacred and enslaved. Why are our peace offciers going along with this, unless they are no longer patriotic peace officers but something far more sinister.

Examples include Nazi Germany in fact our gun laws are translations of Hitlers legislation.

As a police officer, I fully support the legitimate, lawful ownership of guns. I would even support concealed carry.
I don't know why people are so afraid of guns and why they demad them be removed from our society.

As many weapons as there are in the hands of the populous, I don't think we will be disarmed any time in the near future. I prefer weapons in the hands of trained peace officers as opposed to John Q. public who is ruled by emotion and has no formal training in the use of a weapon. Tell me who do you call if you are in danger? 9 out of 10 people will call the cops . I just read that in the state of Indiana you can get a gun permit for life . That seems to differ with what you think is happening . Yes there are some bad seed cops but not near as many as there are assholes trying to take what you have. The government is not some big conspiracy aimed at you . Don't be so paranoid. If we need to defend ourselves, our families and/or our country we will always find a way.

Canada has very strict gun laws. If you have a gun it must be registered and locked in a case unless you are hunting or whatever. If you have a gun on your person or unregistered you better start looking for a lawyer. Incidentally, of the G7 countries which consists of France, West Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada, Canada tops the list as the safest country to live. We don't carry guns and yet the last time I looked our country hadn't been massacred or enslaved! The government is looking towards even tougher penalties for gun possession after a rash of gun related murders in the Toronto area over the last couple of years, including my own brother who was killed in his own garage. I hope they do crack down harder with the gun laws, because here the only people carrying guns, outside of law enforcement officers are those who plan to use them for criminal activities.

The police are not trying to disarm the public but are rather enforceing our current gun laws.
Secondly, just disarming the public doesnt mean they are going to be massacured, just look at the UK. They have very strict firearm laws and they are not being slaughtered.
This doesnt mean its right, people should have a right to bear arms but only in certain circumstances. Everyone shouldnt be allowed to walk around with assault rifles and concealed weapons but should certainly be allowed to own rifles and such.
Its simply a balancing game between enforcing the law and providing security.

its less political and simply practical. It makes their job easier and safer. If you had a physical incident, you'd really like for the people not to be armed when you walk in to get control of the situation.
Ditto martial artists. The police are very concerned in a confrontation with a person who is a skilled martial artist as they could inflict strong harm to a policeman.
The British and countries under their influence - like Canada, do not allow possession of guns. There still are lots of crimes - mainly knifings. I noticed there were few shootings when I was up there and Canadians told me they don't allow people to have guns. I'm not for gun control but it seems to work there ok.

Police don't want to disarm the public but there is a little thing called training that separates them from us. Police are trained to use differing levels of violence to control or resolve a situation. example: someone hits your car and runs you chase they stop and say I'm sorry, let's take care of this (Dreamworld) you might pull your gun to get compliance where an Officer will not unless he or she SEES a need to.

Totally and utterly false. The police defend the constitution including the 2nd amendment. They are charged to uphold the laws. For those of of us who are law abiding, then you have no worries.
In this case, don't blame the police, blame the politician for writing laws restricting the use and possession of firearms for law-abiding citizens.

That is why the second amendment is there to protect us from the government from taking control. The Power comes from the people not from the government.

In the USA, each citizen has a constitutional right to keep and bear firearms. Most cops support that right.
