I have problems talking to a guy on the phone?

I havent seen this one guy in about 5years & suddenly last week he messeged me on Myspace telling me how beautiful I am & that hes liked me every since the 3rd grade. Well we exchanged phone#s, & so the first couple of days of talking to each other were great! But on the last chat I told him a story, and i stuttered the whole time Which brings me to my problem; I've lost all confidence in myself when it comes to a conversation with him. I can barely stay on the phone with him for 2minutes because my tounge gets incredibly tied, & I can only speak in gibberish; I've become so paranoid of myself & the way i talk, I get so scared to even call him! I don't know what to do! But I know he still likes me cause I'm still #1 on his Myspace-Top8, & earlier my cousin called him & asked him if he would wanna be my boyfriend & he said "yea, but im not sure she wants me tho!" Which isnt true, cause I really like him but i want to have a relationship where talking is key; but i cant because of me!!!
