That is the million dollar question, isn't it?
Listen to the song "The Rose" sometime ... it is as good a description of love and how it can affect you as any song I've heard lately.
If being apart from him leaves a hole in your soul ... it could be love. If being near him makes your heart sing with joy ... it could be love. If you would gladly take pain from him and bear it yourself ... it could be love.
Here's the big one ... if you knew that he loved someone else more than he loved you ... you would step aside so he could be with her ... that would be love. It's just about the purest sacrifice a person can make for someone they love. And, the most painful.
Love is nearly impossible to define. It must be experienced. Even though much is made of "love at first sight", it really needs time and a relationship with someone willing to share his life in order to blossom fully.
By the way ... there have been more songs written about love than any other topic. I wonder why?

i think if you were in love you would never have to ask this question... you would know for a fact that this person is for you.. that they are your everything... you do things for them cuz you know it will make them happy, and even though sometimes it could be a lot of work you dont even care cuz it actually makes you happy too
