In their prime. Eddie Murphy would be 80's and Chappelle would be when his show was on......... If you forget. Dave Chappelle was in Nutty Professor as Reggie the stand up comedian. I love that scene.

I think that Eddie Murphy is always going to be funnier. All of the comedians are trying to reach the plateaus that the older comedians have set. Dave is a fool , don't get me wrong, I love him and I hate that he walked away from a lucrative show ,but Eddie, Richard, Redd and others each own their own place in time.And all of the newcomers are using them as a base to follow.

Eddie murphy is more funnier because hes begin comedy longer and is a legend. Dave chappelle has long way to come before hes as good as eddie but hes still a funny dude.
