Organized religion is a work of the enemy. If there is a separation in the Church, well, how are we all to agree. As for the past, once you ask for forgiveness, it is supposed to be forgotten. Can't sit around keep asking for forgiveness for something you have let go. Just so long as you are NO LONGER DOING IT! Holier than thou acts are people who have been thru the storm and suffered, and most time out of all times, see you going thru the same thing and want you to take the easiest way out. "Holier than thou" accusers and the ones that take offense to quickly, and are quick to judge advise. A baby...
1 Corinthians 13:11 (Whole Chapter)
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. (KJV)

Not all christians... I call myself a christian for lack of a better term. The connotation of the word christian really is quite hateful. I am a christian who believes in God, a loving God, a God who gave free will and is unconcerned with the little stuff that some "christians" spend all their time on. God is the only judge but some christians forget this. Worry more about how you are treating people and that you are living your life to the fullest, that is all you can do. If you let yourself worry about what christians or nonchristians believe your life should be like than you are not living it. Live, be happy, love. I know the be happy and love is me pushing my believes on how you should live life, but if my biggest flaw is spreading to much love and happiness, so be it.

to tutor that any certain ethnic team or race is more suitable to the different is actual anti-Biblical. So I not regularly see the way it really is data one way or yet another about the 'evils' of prepared faith... a minimum of interior Christianity. Saint Paul, as quoted contained in the e book of ACTS, suggested that from one guy, God made all adult males. except for, he writes in a unmarried of his letters that there is neither Jew nor Gentile... they're one in Christ. With those (and many different passages) I finish that no guy would favor to imagine himself intrinsically more suitable for any reason, a lot less for the mere color of his corruptible flesh. You seem to compared to racism both... precise? in spite of everything, you in reality call it evil. so that you'll be a Christian too? Or are you not? if you're actually not, then why call it evil? How do you decide on 'evil'? is this merely your own selection, or is there some overarching widespread in touch? You communicate as although all and diverse is less than an needed moral widespread and that those so said as 'white supremacist Christians' are evil for violating this widespread. So i truly ought to ask your self the position this widespread comes from. Who set up this widespread for everybody and through what authority? Please clarify it to us... until eventually, of route, you actually are a Christian. Then your condemnation of racism makes suited experience in gentle of God's note. EDIT: those sorts of thumbs down for merely soliciting for a rationalization? i understand why i can say racism is evil, and so i'm asking you on your reason? Given atheism, the fact "racism is evil" is justified how?

What is religion?
Jam 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
When men use religion to exercise power over another, that is not "true religion". True religion is looking after others and remaining faithful to God.
I'm not about to defend many of the devils in the Catholic church around the dark ages. They were defiled and worshipped Satan with their practices.
I hope you now know what pure religion is.

Most people are deceived into believing that the church is without sin and they are above anyone and everyone that does not believe the way they do. They can not bear the thought that there not only might be something wrong in their church but that there is something wrong in all churches because they are filled with humans.
Any place there are humans gathered together there is sin because we are all born into sin and the only way we can escape the consequences of sin, which is death, is through the Holy Blood of Christ Jesus. Just because someone accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior it does not mean they will be perfect and not do things wrong. It means they are Washed by the Holy Blood of Jesus and are forgiven from their sin and are on the path to eternal life. It takes work to stay on this path though and there are a lot of people that refuse to walk down the center of the path and are drawn to the sin which is strewn along side.
Once a person accepts Christ they are a new creature in Christ Jesus and the old person is gone if they are truly honest and sincere about serving Christ Jesus. As stated in 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
It is not good to look back because looking back has a tendency to cause you to swerve from the goal you are heading for. In Luke 9: 57-62 Jesus is speaking to those around him and replies to the following:
57 As they were going along the road, a man said to him, "I will follow you wherever you go."
58 And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head."
59 To another he said, "Follow me." But he said, "Lord, let me first go and bury my father."
60 But he said to him, "Leave the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God."
61 Another said, "I will follow you, Lord; but let me first say farewell to those at my home."
62 Jesus said to him, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God."
(RSV)
This is why Christians do not like to talk about their past, everything there is gone and we are new creatures in Christ Jesus. As for the part about talking about evils in organized religion, as I said earlier most people do not want to admit there is evil lurking in their certain church.
Something to remember is what Jesus Himself said which is written in Matthew 10: 32-33
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
I don’t know if this answers your question with what you wanted to hear but I did my best.

A lot of people are decieved, and a lot of churches are corrupted, but that doesn't mean you should judge all christians based on a few experiences.

We are not our past. I know that bad things were done in the past in God's name, but that does not mean that God condones them, or that I condone them. I had nothing to do with them, nor any Christian alive today, so why should we get blamed for them?

Because they have their fun little bs loophole where whenever a christian does something wrong, they can just claim they were never actually christian in the first place. Fun, ain't it? Yup, that's right, christians are perfect people and can do no wrong, so if you do wrong, then *obviously* you were lying about being a christian, duh. Ugh, I have to stop now, it's making me nauseous.
