Wal-Mart has this item called Hair Color Stripper. After you use it, it will make your hair a completely different color, but after 24 hours, you can dye it again. I had dyed my hair a dark brown and my hair came out almost black. When I used this item, it made my hair bright red and yellow, my hair is naturally a medium brown. It will not make your hair back to its natural color, but you can dye it again after 24 hours. I would recomend buying the hair color when you buy the color stripper so that you do not have to go back out in public. If you want to do it gradually, you can use a Daily Clarafying Shampoo.

The black will not come out on its own. I dyed my hair black with a temporary dye and it never washed out. Anyway, you can have your hair professionally stripped, however, unless your hair is brown originally it probably won't give you the results you want. Your best bet is to do the peroxide thing then re-dye your hair whatever color you want.

First you need to get a hair color stripper. Wait about 2-3 weeks, and then if you want another color, go ahead. But a hair color stripper would be your best bet. Might take a couple of tries to get it all out, but it does work.

I dyed my hair black for three years and i tried almost everything and nothing worked. I tried the stripping kits and it made mine a really funky color. So in the end i had to let it grow out

You can go to most any beauty supply shop and get a hair dye remover kit- very easy to use and it worked good when I used it. Just be sure to get the hair dye you want too, though- my hair looked awful directly after removing the black hair dye.

The best way to get black out of your hair is to let it grow out. If you bleack it you run the risks of having dred and fried hair. Also if you weren't a blonde in the first place then it isn't the smartest to bleach it cause then you would have to keep coloring it to your color until all the blonde has grown out!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck darlin. You're stuck with black for a while. I say cut it short and have it PROFESSIONALLY stripped. It will take a few months to get it back to your natural color, but at least with it being short, you won't be damaging it too much.

You cannot really "lift" tint - so don't use bleach. Use a haircolor remover - available at drug stores and beauty supply stores...and since black is the most difficult to remove, you will need to do it a couple of times. The haircolor remover will do it and then you can reapply color.
