The younger you are, the more it matters. As you age, it matters less.
My wife is 9 years younger than I, and we've been married for nearly 20 years. She was 21 when we married.
I would be more concerned if you were 16 and the age difference were 5 years.

of coarse its ok, 2 year difference is ok at pretty much every age. (within reason) I think the only time age matters is when there is a big gap like lets say a 14 year old dating a 20 year old. But otherwise when both are consenting adults age shouldn't matter. Its all about what's inside...like my fiance is 19 and I'm 21...and we are totally in love...and thats all that matters. Let your heart guide you...it whispers so listen closely.

Yes, at a younger age. The older oneself gets the less difference a couple of years will matter.

no of course not my mother is 7 years older then my step father so if yours a 2 year it doesn't really matter at all because the thing that really counts is true love and if you guys get a long and if you are soul mates

A 2 year difference in what? If you are talking about age, then probably not, as long as you are both old enough..

It's really not the age thing that matters most, it depends how much they went through, how experienced and confident they are with themselves, and how positive they see live. the 2 year gap wont hurt you, just depends what age and how much they have gone through and how it has changed them,( hopefully for the better) in you case :)

if you are referring to age in a couple, no it doesn't. I am 2 years older than my hubby and we have been exceptionally happy for 18 years this month. Most of my friends ended up marrying men 2 years younger, too! My older brother's wife is also 2 years older than him and my other brother's wife is 2 years younger than him.

I have a 14 year difference. It depends on the intellectual mentality of the two people involved. Age has nothing to do with it at all, love and what's in common and intellect have eveything to do with it.
