If you want to be a walking/talking contradiction then sure!

Funny how Repubs are oh so patriotic but at the same time are oh so conservative. If you are so much FOR the country, why don't you support what the Fathers of our country supported?

Why don't you support changing the constitution? Why do you support war and high taxes and rich people?

I'm not a Democrat, but I must say that they sure as hell are a lot smarter than you conservatives. Tut tut.

I used to be a Republican, but then I grew up. Now I'm a Democrat. I'm a blue collar grunt who's tired of Religious Redneck Piety in a country that's about as Christian as my dog. She only bites, she's never killed a queer for Christ or proposed a constitutional ammendment to ban cats or claim that cats were never supposed to be allowed equal status with dogs in this country. She may have stolen the other dogs' bones sometimes, but she's never, never stolen an election.

Vote for somebody that will support what you want out of your country. Voting for someone ONLY based on their religious affiliation is not wise. there are many motivating factors for people. They may claim to be big believers of Christ but look at their actions. Do they lie to the people? Do they make decisions based on the best interest of the people or on what will make more$$$$ ? It's all a lot more complicated than it looks. Do some research and go with what you feel is right. Don't just rely on who your parents vote for or what people tell you.

I used to be, and democrats aren't exactly my cup of tea either, There aren't enough independents, but they tend to be more conservative about issues that I do not agree on.

I got to say, I don't think Bush and Cheney are going to make it through this term alive. Its not a threat just a weird gut feeling. He has messed so many things up for so many Americans, he has the lowest approval rating, even lower than Nixon, and he resigned..so what's left?

David T gave you a hint. I'll give you another both parties are more to the left than the great JFK. Judge him on his inaugural address Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country. Go out and educate yourself with the assistance of schools. After-wards go out and intentionally create wealth for the world. Some of the wealth you create will come back to you.

Vote with your head - not for any certain party. Vote for the people who will best represent what you believe. Do not get into the mindset that you have to be Republican or Democrat. That idea is long extinct and no longer useful in today's political climate.

Being a Christian doesn't automatically mean you are republican! There are plenty of Christian Democrats out there, maybe they just don't like to shove their religion down other peoples' throats. Live and let live, religion is all about money anyways, just believe in and love who/what you want and don't judge others.

Already am but here's a bit of wisdom from the past I think Winston Churchill said something like this; those under 30 who aren't liberal have no heart those over 30 who aren't conservative have no brain.

I think you lack the education to pick your party just yet.
I don't think Bush and Christ agree on too much. Do your research before you make your decisions. I feel both parties have failed to demonstrate good ethics.
