Col 2:8-10

8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

History and tradition gives us a trinity.....but this scripture says that Jesus is the head of All principality and power.......what gives.............

Here ia a better question for you trinitarians in
St. Matthew 28:19 it says
19) Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

What is the Father's name?
What is the Son's name?
What is the Holy Ghost's name?

You churches baptize in titles which is incorrect, there is no three persons in the God head. All three of these titles represent one name that all man must come by.
Why do you scholars insist on fighting against scripture? If God said in
ISAIAH 45:5,6
5) I am the Lord, and there is NONE else, there is NO GOD beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
6) That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is NONE beside me. I am the Lord, and there is NONE else.

PERIOD. Again E-mail me with scripture explaining this trinity that you have been teaching falsely throughout generations.
bible_god_holy@yahoo.com
It is time that the truth of God be spread throughout the world, and to start tearing these false teaching temples down.
Praise the Lord.
There is no where in the bible, coran, or any book you write or buy where the apostles baptized in titles.

I agree with whynotaskdon and I think it needs to be said again!

Here we go again with theTRINITY THING!

Jesus sent the Holy Ghost or Spirit AFTER the Scriptures were fulfilled.

John the Baptiser would not have baptised Jesus ""In the name of the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit"" when Jesus was standing there in front of all, and the Holy Spirit appeared moments later to confirm the event.

May I give you this old file of mine! ====

Q -- Trinity, I don't see the word trinity in the Bible. Were in the Bible is the
trinity mentioned ?

A -- Indeed the word trinity is not in the Bible, but the indicators certainly are.
Look up Psalm 45, and Psalm 110. Both indicate THE GOD speaking to
"HIS OTHER".....also......The Trinity is indicated in 1 John 5:7 if you are using
a King James Bible (others have removed or altered same).

In the Old Testament see Isaiah 44:6 --- and His redeemer I am ---.
and Isaiah 45:11 --- And His maker --.

My favourite indicator is 1 Corinthians 15:28 ! At some point The Trinity will once
again unite because THEN there will be no need for The Trinity !

Water appears as a liquid, steam, and ice. All three are one.
A Clover leaf has three segments, it is but ONE clover.

In both situations above, three are one. Why can't THE GOD do the same?

Yes. Everyone was baptized in the name of the trinity as Jesus Commanded. (Matthew 28:19-20). Look at Acts 19:1-7. Paul asked Apollos if he had recieved the holy spirit. Apollos said he had never heard of the holy spirit. Paul asked in whose name was he baptized. Apollos replied in the name of John the baptist.

Why would Paul ask in whose name was he baptized when he learned that Apollos had not heard of the holy spirit? Paul knew if Apollos had been baptized in the correct manner with the name of the trinity, Apollos would have recieved and known about the holy spirit.

We are not given the exact words used when people were baptized in the bible. Matthew 28:19-20 directs us to...
Go ye therefore into all the world baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Jesus told his disciples on Ascension day to go out and baptize all nations of the world in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus himself talked about the Trinity to his disciples during the last supper before his death. Read the gospels and the book of Acts and you'll find the trinity spoken off.

Did Jesus use the word, trinity, No, not based on the what we know but John says that Jesus taught them more than they could write down so who are we to say that he didn't talk about this in more detail to his disciples. Were we there? They were and taught those who came after them who taught others who came after them. The problem is that over the years alot of folks just don't like what Jesus had to say or what he taught to his disciples so in order to justify themselves, they try to discredit the very disciples who taught and died for the very thing that God has given all of us to save us! Go figure!

I apologize if this is shakey, I'm on Benadryl and can't think straight.

In Acts, Peter or Paul one came upon a group of people who didn't have the Holy Spirit because they had only been baptized into the name of Jesus, thus it follows that baptism must be of the Holy Spirit as well, and as Christianity is all about God, I can't see why you would have doubts about his name being included, because John baptized in the name of the father before Jesus arrived. Thanks for asking, God luvs ya!
