Yeah, I've entered CFA shows. I show about once a month. What do you need help with??? I have too many funny stories to type and if you let me know what kind of show (CFA or TICA) you are entering and what kind of cat you have I may be able to give you some tips...

haven't entered one myself, but I've helped at them before... it's not quite like the dog shows you watch on tv... there are usually different rings going at different times, you definitely need a VERY laidback cat to tolerate one of those things, large building, strange smells, strange cats, new people poking at them... But if your cat has the right personality I say go for it! you can enter a specific breed or enter the cat as domestic (I think if it's neutered it has to be entered as domestic as well, not sure why). I suggest scoping some out if you haven't, try to get a feel for how they're set up and see if it's for you (and your cat)... good luck!
-As for funny stories... I don't really have any, my time was spent cleaning the cat urine out of the cages between showings, lol
