Of course not! I had my first at 33 and second at 36. All went well. My friend is 48 and doing it again,. I must admit I think that's a little crazy, but if you only have one child now, he or she needs a buddy. If your marriage is strong, go for it! You will never regret having this child, but may regret it if you don't.

I sure hope not. My second child was born when I was 34. My third will hopefully be here when I am 37-38.

I will tell you that we are much better parents than we would have been if we started young (first son born when I was 30)

I secretly (guess it is out now) think we are better parents than others we see that are younger.

I had my second child at 36 and everything was great. Not only did I have a healthy baby girl, but I didn't have to have a c-section like I did with my first child. It was a wonderful experience.

No!!!! I'll tell you what God told me, as long as you have eggs to be fertilize your not to old. If God would of thought 34 was to old to have a baby, then all that women stuff would of stopped. So if you want a baby go for it!!!! May the Lord bless you with a healthy one.

No, as long as you're still in your child bearing years (which means you haven't gone through menopause) then go ahead and have one.

I saw on the news yesterday that a 59 year old had twins. Now she was too old!

In my opinion yes. Especially if you have other children that are over 5 years older.I think it is a BAD idea spacing the kids too far apart, because they grow up differently and they have nothing in common. I am 9 1/2 years older than my brother and it is hard for us to have a relationship because we are at different places in our lives.

No my mom had her six child at 40. The funny thing is that we were pregnant at the same time. Now my brother is three months older then my son.
