Similar to when you want to slam a cordless phone down and hang up on someone (as proved on the Seinfeld show) you cannot slam a revolving door to make a point.

Yes you can slam a revolving door because you can slam it on the wall on either side of the door .

you mean like on somebodies foot, To slam a revolving door, I like it keep up the good work.can I try it in a sentence? State legislatures are trying to slam shut the revolving door our penal system has become. maybe somebody can do better than that?
