my aunt uses mane and tail, and it doesn't work that well. Try using pantene or something like that

Mane and tail is fine for hair ready for the process.. you first need to get rid of ALL your split ends then start.. remember to get a trim from your split ends AT least 2 times a year... good luck

split ends need to be cut or trimmed - nothing can repair it. Mane and Tail doesn't work any better than any other shampoo and good conditioner.
Don't brush your hair when it is wet - use a wide toothed comb to minimize damage.
For a cheap conditioner - put Mayonnaise in your hair, cover with a plastic bag for 30 minuted and them shampoo out. Mayo is mostly oil and egg so it does wonders for hair.

Mane 'N Tail worked great for me. I have a full head of healthly, hair. I use all of their hair care products. I use the one from the company Straight Arrow. The 32 or 36 oz bottles cost me $8.00 a piece.

it depends which one your talking there's 2 one that you get in the hair products aisle (which is the one that don't work) or the original Mane and Tail from straight arrow th one that has the horses painted on the label which is in the pet shampoo aisle (this is the one I use and it works it's just a few cents more expensive) but do try shampoo and conditioner my hair was very damage and I saw a big diferrence I had bought products from hair salons and those didn't work but this one did BUT JUST KEEP IN MIND THE ORIGINAL ONE IS THE ONE THAT DOES WONDERS FOR YOUR HAIR NOT THE OTHER THAT ONE DOESN'T WORK
YOU CAN ALSO USE AUSSIE 3 MINUTE MIRACLE RECONSTRUCTOR (SMELLS GREAT)WITH THE ,MANE AND TAIL CONDITIONER
AND AUSSIE'S HAIR INSURANCE LEAVE IN CONDITIONER JUST FOLLOW DIRENTIONS ON THE LABEL AND YOU'LL SEE THE RESULT I did

You mean that horse shampoo? I bought some of that once at a dollar store, it seemed to work ok , may have made my hair a bit fuller and stronger, i don't know about split ends , you might try "Frizz-ease" or maybe the little tubes of hot oil treatment.

Mane and Tail works REALLY well for me. I have partially wavy hair, about to my shoulders. Made my hair very soft and manageable... I would reccommend it!

didn't work for me. There are no products that i know that will permanently fix split ends, it is better to have them be cut off before they get worse. john frieda products have always worked the best for me.

Jennifer Aniston is said to have used it. She has georgeous hair, so it must work a little if this is true.
